These rooms can be installed in as little as 1 week due to their prefabricated nature. These extremely well insulated rooms will appeal to people on a lower budget that still need a fully functional space whatever the weather.

Perfect for that work from home space, a gym, man cave, or even a workshop. The express base models come with a standard white wipeable powder coated aluminium internal finish with surface mounted electrics. The outside finish is an anthracite plastisol coated finish to stand up against all weather conditions with no maintenance required and easy to clean if necessary.

Upgrades are also available on our express range, including a fully plastered finish. With this package you will also benefit from hidden electrics and recessed electrical points just like on our other garden rooms. A decorated finish can also be added for a fully turn key solution

DO I NEED PLANNING PERMISSION?

In most cases no you do not. Our garden rooms are constructed under permitted development rights, and we can guide you if we think your project may be close to any of the limitations that come with permitted development rights. The use of a garden studio can also influence whether you would need planning or not I.E you would need permission for any sleeping accommodation (granny annex).

CAN YOUR GARDEN ROOMS BE USED ALL YEAR ROUND?

Yes, they absolutely can be used all year round. We use the latest techniques when we insulate our garden rooms, ensuring we keep good ventilation in the structure too. We also install a vapour barrier to prevent inside moisture from reaching the structure and to keep an airtight seal within the room.

HOW DURABLE ARE YOUR GARDEN ROOMS?

They are built to last for decades when properly maintained. With over 30 years of expected lifespan, your garden studio can be a reliable addition that serves you for years.

IF WE MOVE, COULD WE TAKE THE GARDEN STUDIO WITH US?

In many cases, yes! Relocating a garden studio is possible with some planning and equipment. It’s best to check on the feasibility of moving it based on its features and location.

IS THERE A WARRANTY FOR YOUR GARDEN ROOMS?

  Wonderful, efficient, beautiful! Chris was amazing. He was helpful from the beginning of the process, helping us choose the right option for our home. He was very responsive (which is so rare in this industry) and kept things simple. He communicated any changes quickly allowing us to progress quickly. The project was completed in a month (despite the cold and the rain) and our garden room is simply beautiful. We can't wait to use it now and it certainly has increased the value of our property.   It was a great experience from start to finish. The design was bespoke and attached to our garage. We had good advice on how to spec the building in a way that met our needs and balanced cost and practicality. The build went well and complexities arising during the build were discussed and resolved. There was transparency on any impact on costs.   I contacted Chris about this time last year. He attended promptly and gave a reasonable quote. Accepted and the garden studio was built in time for the sunshine. Had a great summer making use of our new garden room. Serving a dual purpose of both convenient work space and garden room for the benefit family, it has proven to be a valuable addition to the house. Tidy, friendly and considerate during build.   If you want a studio built, then you should get Essex Garden Studios to build it.  Everything was easy from start to finish (I basically had to do nothing!), the process was quicker than I expected it to be and - more importantly - the result was exactly how I imagined it would look.   I would highly recommend Essex Garden Studios. The quality of the product is incredibly high with the final outcome certainly closer to an extension than a garden room, and something we will be able to use all year round. Clad in beautiful looking Cedar, Chris worked with us to design the room into the corner of our garden, working around some existing trees and hedges to maximise use of space . Chris was on-site promptly ever day and got the build completed in line with schedule. With Chris and James being so polite and hard working, it made the build time fly by with minimal disruption.
