This garden room exemplifies our team’s expertise in navigating challenging terrain. Despite a ground level difference of roughly 900mm from one end of the build site to the other, we were undaunted by the obstacle. In fact, we saw it as an opportunity to make use of the unique landscape to create an exceptional build.
Initially, the client had selected a different location that was the only flat area in the garden. However, we recognised that this site would not maximise the available space. Instead, we suggested a location directly opposite the patio doors of the house, which already had a lovely patio in front of it.
As a result of the varying ground levels, we were also able to create greater internal height and a level threshold for the build. We viewed the ground level differences as a potential asset rather than an issue, resulting in a stunning garden room that exceeded the client’s expectations.
