As shown in this case study, the terrain of the garden posed a considerable slope that required attention before the Garden Room could be constructed. However, as a bespoke company, we are always up for a challenge, and we were able to successfully regulate the area by removing the existing shed and base and building a retaining wall using treated timber sleepers to create a plateau for the Garden Room.
Furthermore, we suggested a deck area to split up the level differences between ground level and finished floor level, which would also serve as a delightful space for outdoor activities during summer months. This stunning Garden Room will be utilised as a home office and reading area, as well as providing a play area for the grandchildren when they visit.

- Zero maintenance composite cladding in grey to all sides
- Upvc French doors and window anthracite grey inside and outside
- Hygienic wipeable internal surfaces
- 200mm canopy to front and left with extra canopy to create seating area
- Resin bound path and patio under canopy in paloma grey

Wonderful, efficient, beautiful! Chris was amazing. He was helpful from the beginning of the process, helping us choose the right option for our home. It was a great experience from start to finish. The design was bespoke and attached to our garage. We had good advice on how to spec the building in a way that met our needs and balanced cost and practicality. The build went well and complexities arising during the build were discussed and resolved. There was transparency on any impact on costs. Overall, we were very pleased with the whole process and delighted with the end result.

If you want a studio built, then you should get Essex Garden Studios to build it. I would highly recommend Essex Garden Studios. The quality of the product is incredibly high with the final outcome certainly closer to an extension than a garden room, and something we will be able to use all year round. Clad in beautiful looking Cedar, Chris worked with us to design the room into the corner of our garden, working around some existing trees and hedges to maximise use of space . Chris was on-site promptly ever day and got the build completed in line with schedule. With Chris and James being so polite and hard working, it made the build time fly by with minimal disruption.
